We have a new addition to our home. This is Charly...our Quaker.
Charly was hatched 11/27/07, leaving his siblings on 02/02/08 to live
with me. Why a Quaker? Well, they are a nice size, not too big, not too
small. Quakers are also known to be very good talkers...tho we won't
hear much of that from Charly until he gets a bit older...9 - 12 months
of age, so I am told. I'm also told it's like having a 2 year old
toddler...for 20 years. Not too far off what I experience with the
Basenjis. <g>

07/10/08 We received Talon's hip results from OFA today. She has EXCELLENT hips!!!

Chaz's first "real" show and he WON
THE HOUND GROUP!!! Then, the next
day, he earned his first point by going

On Sunday, Star and Smoke each earned another point towards their championship titles
by going Winners Bitch and Best of Breed (respectively). We also had Talon's eyes done
this weekend...both eyes are CLEAR!!

10/10/08 Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, we had to make a change in our
breeding plans for this year. Our friend, Carol Wyatt, owner of Dorsey, will be spending some
time treating breast cancer. I hope you will all share your prayers for Carol's speedy and full
recovery.
Though I am disappointed about not breeding Talon to Dorsey, I am equally excited about
